How to jinx the universe

I want to jinx the universe
For me to
have you back
hear your voice with
strawberries and cream
with wine and with a song
on those lips of yours and mine
at midnight.

Can I jinx the universe?
Put it all
into place
the ice cream and
the wine mixed with
my voice calling for you
summoning you back to me
tonight?

Can I jinx the universe?
Ask the stars
to sparkle
just one more time
for my soul to
sing the final melody
to vibrate on that very last
frequency?

Can I jinx the universe?
I don‘t know
if any of
these dark and of
these pretty things
I do will ever bring you
back into this world of mine
but I will try for just a
little while …

… because I am not done, yet.
