November magic once more! With photos!

When I grew up, November was my favourite month, but over the years our relationship got complicated. I still love the golden leaves, the pumpkin spice latte, the cinnamon in the air, and the rainy days that feel like adventure, but it also is a challenge. The dark time of the year is a challenge, facing another Christmas and another birthday is certainly not easy. Watching all the lights in the distance when walking home from a busy day is always tricky. It can be melancholic, cozy, or simply heartbreaking, depending on the day.

These are a few photographs I did last year, to try to enjoy these dark months again. They are dark and intense, but I think they helped me to fall in love with November again! They made me love the adventure, the challenge, and helped me to write some of my best poems!

(You may recognize some of them from my blog already …)
