When this witch had you

Having you
felt like strawberries and cream
on a rainy day in summer
waiting for a thunderstorm.
It felt like
breathing in deeply for once
with the patter of raining
painting our world blue.
Wrapped into
sheets that are white and soft
holding us together
while we‘re falling apart.

„We could tell you that we love you“, my witch giggled. „But no. Look at our strawberries and please be proud of us!“
