Witch on the road – Would I look nice as a statue?

Within less than a year, I have travelled to some of the most exciting places in Europe. Sometimes for work, sometimes privately.

On these travels, I have met some of the most important figures in my field of studies, natural history and the history of science! I got to hang out with Lamarck in Paris, Darwin in London, and Linné in Helsinki!

Just look at your witch next to all of these important men of the past! This was inspiring to keep working and leave something behind myself. Would I look nice as a statue? 😉

I have to admit that I love visiting monuments of any kind. I think it matters to embrace the stories we tell, and question how we tell them. Or, to question who becomes a statue and who doesn’t. This was giggles by my witch.

Me in with Lamarck in Paris
Me with Darwin in London
Me with Linné in Helsinki

  1. It doesn’t have to be a statue in the physical sense – creative people carve their “statue” in the hearts of those who like their work. I think your creative works inspires many peoples, so in a sense your statue is in people’s hearts 🙂
